Sydney Chinese New Year Festival Twilight Parade

In 2011 we’ll celebrate the Year of the Rabbit. 2011 also marks the 15th year that the City of Sydney has produced the Sydney Chinese New Year Festival.

Anchored by the Twilight Parade, the Festival plays host to more than 60 associated events celebrating the Lunar New Year. Major events in 2011 will include the Launch Celebrations, Chinese New Year Markets, and the largest Dragon Boat Races in the Southern Hemisphere.

Be delighted by the beauty of the lanterns and swirling costumes. Be thrilled by daring aerial feats. Marvel at the dazzling Chinese New Year fireworks display at Darling Harbour.
